LOPPW Advocacy Training September 25, 2010

With only five loaves of bread and two fish, Jesus and his disciples fed more than 5,000 people. Through advocacy, we bring daily bread to thousands in Wisconsin and millions around our country. Together with ELCA World Hunger and the East Central Synod of Wisconsin, the Lutheran Office for Public Policy in Wisconsin invites you to participate in this unique advocacy training and learn how we live out our baptismal calling to strive for justice and peace.

The Loaves and Fishes Advocacy Day will take place on Saturday September 25 at Calvary Lutheran in Green Bay. The training will begin at 10:00 am and run through 3:00 pm. The cost is $25 and $10 for students; lunch will be provided. To RSVP, please call 608-270-0201, or email us at contact@loppw.org.
